I don’t normally write reviews, but I feel an obligation to warn others about the horrific experience my family had with Dr. Gong. His negligence, incompetence, and complete disregard for patient care directly contributed to my family member’s death. Dr. Gong is the embodiment of everything a doctor should never be, and I sincerely hope no one else ever has to suffer at the hands of his irresponsibility. My family member became suddenly and severely ill and was referred to Dr. Gong. They were diligent about their health, carefully managing their diabetes and making thoughtful choices to maintain their well-being. Yet, instead of listening to their concerns and thoroughly investigating the cause of their sudden symptoms, Dr. Gong dismissed them entirely. He gaslighted my family member, accused them of excessive alcohol consumption without any evidence, and treated them with condescension instead of compassion. My family member was suffering from a rare, life-threatening disease that needed immediate attention. But Dr. Gong’s complete lack of curiosity, empathy, and basic medical diligence allowed their condition to rapidly deteriorate. He refused to take their symptoms seriously, neglecting his duty of care in a way that was not just careless but downright dangerous. It got so bad that two other medical professionals in the family had to step in to try and save my loved one. One family member, a physician, and another, a healthcare professional, were forced to intervene and advocate aggressively just to get Dr. Gong to take even minimal action. Even when confronted by other trained professionals, he remained indifferent until my family member was on the brink of death. By the time he finally started paying attention, the opportunity to save them was gone, and my family member passed away. Dr. Gong’s failure to act, failure to listen, and failure to care made it painfully clear that he is not just a bad doctor — he is a dangerous one. His complete lack of responsibility and blatant disregard for human life directly contributed to my loved one’s death. If you value your life or the lives of your loved ones, stay as far away from Dr. Gong as possible. No one deserves to be treated like an inconvenience by the very person who is supposed to be their lifeline. Dr. Gong is a reckless physician, and I wouldn’t wish this nightmare on anyone.
