I met Dr Anwer for a meet and greet. I then booked a follow up physical per his request. I specifically asked during my meet and greet if he would be doing same day/next day appointments because this matters to me. He said he would be trying to. My next appointment I booked with him was a few days away from when I called. This was acceptable. However, Dr Anwer didn’t show up to the clinic that day so I had to wait for the walk in doctor. I then called to make another appointment recently. He was booking 3 weeks out – for phone only. I got a call from the clinic the same day as my appointment where he decided to leave early and postpone my appointment another week. I waited 1.5 hours for him to call for the postponed appointment. Why even have a family doctor?

This doctor is disrespectful not just to women but to anyone’s time. Watching him stroll into the office half an hour after your appointment time repeatedly, in fact he has never been on time, at least half an hour late up to 90 minutes late. He also will not help women with hormonal issues, and while he does make this clear, he cannot expedite any sort of help, he flatout denied me the chance to see a reproductive endo bc he didn’t think I needed it. Bc he cannot find things on the portal he insinuated I do not have the condition I’ve had my entire life. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by any doctor in any place I’ve lived in Canada.
