I waited nearly a year for this appointment, hoping to finally get support for the chronic, debilitating pelvic pain I’ve been experiencing for over 12 years. Unfortunately, I left in tears, feeling deeply devalued and unheard.

Dr. Dunn came across as dismissive and unempathetic, despite my efforts to clearly communicate how much this pain has affected every part of my daily life. My symptoms and lived experience were minimized, and I was told that my only or best option was hormonal birth control, regardless of any formal diagnosis.

I was looking for someone to take my pain seriously and be on my side as a medical provider. I expected basic compassion, curiosity, and a willingness to listen. Instead, the appointment felt dehumanizing.

Sadly, this scenario is far too common for women suffering from chronic or pelvic pain. I would not recommend this doctor for any long-term or complex condition.
