I had a consultation with Dr. Warrya and, unfortunately, it left me feeling disappointed and emotionally disconnected. While he may be qualified as a psychiatrist, I didn’t feel any warmth or empathy during our interaction. His tone and manner felt robotic dry, distant, and lacking the human sensitivity I was hoping for. I couldn’t relax or feel safe opening up. It felt more like a transaction than a therapeutic conversation.
I believe that in psychiatry, creating a sense of comfort and emotional presence is essential. That was missing here. I hope this feedback encourages more attentiveness to how patients are received not just clinically, but emotionally.
