This doctor helped me 2 years ago and I’m very grateful and I have repeatedly told him.
My last appointment before last week was November 2024. I felt it wasn’t necessary to see him because I was doing fine mentally. Better than I’ve ever been in my whole life. But things changed on May 21/25 when I went to see him because I had three stressors in my life. My mother passing away two and a half weeks before I saw him, marital problems and also problems in the neighborhood that were ongoing for a year. I was so mentally traumatized by what had happened to me by a loved one, that I reached out to him for help but what I got was more trauma.
He told me because of his “knowledge ” he knows more about my mind than I do. How is that possible? This same “professional” could not see the signs that I was suicidal at my appointment with him 2 DAYS PRIOR to my suicide attempt. How can he read my mind now, but not then? Even the I.C.U. doctor kept asking my husband WHY the psychiatrist didn’t notice anything.
And I’m supposed to accept his abuse? Please do your research before you reach out to him for “help”.
He added another wound today on top of many that I need to heal from. If this is his idea of helping someone then God help us all. I’m so happy I do not have to deal with this “doctor ” anymore. He was stopping me from living in the present. His treatment kept me living in the past. Not helpful at all.
I would like to change my previous review. Dr. Douziech has been very helpful to me.
