When your family doctor says she is putting an urgent referral in for you daughter why on earth would a mother miss that call.l waited 3 months for the appointment changed vacation plans, changed my work day sat by my phone from 7am – 7pm made sure my phone accepted blocked numbers and things I was requested to do. Waited and waited no calls. I called the next day the receptionist said the doctor left a note saying they called and I didn’t answer, they said she left a voicemail I had no voicemail. The receptionist said they could book another appointment which would be 3 months away. This is unacceptable my daughter deserves better than this. The stress and worry this had cause is not fair. We may just may be a phone call to this doctor but this has affected our whole family in more ways than one. I really wish something could be done as my phone didn’t receive a call.
