jan 2010 i had a massive stroke left me totally left side deficit. Dr Takahashi was the doc on duty when i went into the ER in Kamloops from Sicamous BC. I can remember ecery word of that night and every question she asked. she definitely took time to explain how most peoples brains work I was toldff it’d take up to 18 months to walkk talk properly again. i asked what i had to do to get out in 4 weeks. don’t think she thought it was possible but with her help and everyone at hospital i walked out in 4weeks unassisted. she said she had never seen a recovery like mine. sadly i left the area only seen her once after my stroke.. was exactly 3 months later cause they took my kiscense for 3 months and i had to go back for testing to provei’d recovered well enough to drive my taxi business again. More dedicated more empathetic dr i’ve never met but i have az great family doctor now too and hope she will refer me again to this wonderful lady as i need help now getting over bnbad neuropathy !
