1 review about Dr Nardeen Kodous
Nardeen Kodous doesn’t deserve the title Doctor. Her approach to my loved one’s terminal cancer diagnosis was disheartening; from the very first day. Imagine facing such a grim situation, and instead of compassion, you receive cold, defensive and abrupt responses when asking her questions about the diagnosis. That kind of attitude is deeply troubling. She dropped my loved one as a patient when we got the news that her cancer metastasized. She didn’t advocate for palliative care or any treatments to improve quality of life. Instead, she simply dismissed her as if her life had no value left. When we asked about a 2nd opinion she became defensive and told us that we were welcome to it but that there wasn’t another Dr that would do anything different. She left my loved one to die in severe and excruciating pain instead of advocating for her. She abruptly communicated that there was nothing more to be done, leaving us feeling abandoned during an incredibly vulnerable time. Fortunately, other compassionate doctors stepped in to advocate for my loved one. Without their intervention, she would have faced unnecessary suffering and a premature death. What would have been a really awful death in the matter of a week at the hands of Nardeen Kodous, my loved one lived months with dignity, comfort and joy. Having a supportive doctor can change everything, proving that every day truly is a gift, even with a challenging diagnosis. It’s crucial to find someone who supports you and your family through such a difficult journey. You deserve someone who will fight for you and look for solutions that enhance your quality of life. The experience with Nardeen Kodous highlights the importance of seeking out compassionate care. Every person deserves a chance to make the most of their days, and a doctor who believes in that can make all the difference. Don’t settle for anything less; advocate for yourself and your loved ones. It is disheartening to reflect on the lack of empathy displayed by Nardeen Kodous, who seemed indifferent to the gravity of the situation and instead smiled and fed off her power trip knowing that my loved ones life was in her hands. Someone like her shouldn’t be a Dr.
