I made the mistake of going to the ER when he was the attending physician. One of my biggest regrets.I was told by my primary care physician to attend as he had just received my Xray report of a partial bowel obstruction. The ER doctor immediately dismissed my symptoms and said I have food poisoning. Cat scan was ordered any way and because my blockage was positional on my back CT listed : Stomach and duodenum otherwise unremarkable. 3.6 x 3.3 x 4.3 cm umbilical hernia. Neck 2 cm. May contain small bowel.At time of imaging, there is no significant obstruction or incarceration. He said it’s just food poisoning and dismissed me. My bowel is partially blocked while standing, sitting and walking. On my back it reduces.
