– if you don’t have just a basic health issue for general doctor ask for treatment by the specialist. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR, he damaged part of my life
– occupational knee injury during work 12/2013
– properly insured against accidents as part of the job benefits
– report the accident to the WCB
– first treatment with a doctor De Flamingh in Provost
– the need for professional treatment by an orthopedist
– dr. De Flamingh being an general doctor, wanted to treat the injury himself
– claimed it was only a contusion, in fact the cruciate ligament of the knee was torn
– sent me to work to work in light duty
– walking on snow and ice caused several knee sprains with a torn cruciate ligament and subsequent damage to the meniscus
– after a year of arguing with the doctor and WCB, I was sent for an MRI. DR. De Flamingh found nothing, but a specialist orthopedist confirmed a torn cruciate ligament
– ordered knee surgery in cooperation with WCB
– waiting for surgery for a year, sprain again, job loss
– refusal of surgery due to the absence of an escort, refusal to spend the night in the hospital after anesthesia and knee surgery
